Ask Early Literacy uses the information parents or guardians provide to respond to tutoring inquiries, schedule sessions, and handle billing and service messages. You can contact Sydney at sydneystoryask@gmail.com with privacy questions.

Information collected

The interest form asks for the parent's name, child's name, email, preferred contact method, meeting preference, requested weekly frequency, and optional phone number, grade, school setting, and literacy concerns. Booking collects a selected appointment time and contact details. Stripe Checkout collects payment details for recurring billing. Ask Early Literacy's website does not receive or store full card numbers.

Google Calendar access

Sydney authorizes the booking app to access her own Google Calendar. The app reads calendar availability and event times to avoid conflicts. It creates, updates, and removes recurring tutoring reservations on her calendar, and can add a client's email address as an event attendee so Google can send booking updates. Clients are not asked to connect their Google accounts. Information obtained through Google Calendar is used only to provide and manage booking. It is not sold, used for advertising, or shared for unrelated purposes. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Services that process information

The interest form and appointments use Google Forms and Google Calendar. Stripe handles card setup, subscriptions, and payments. The website's hosting provider processes booking requests and holds the private connection credentials needed to use these services. These providers may process information under their own privacy terms.

Retention and requests

Booking and payment records are kept as needed to provide sessions, handle questions or disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Email Sydney to ask about access, correction, or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons.

Children's information

The interest form is intended for parents or guardians to complete on behalf of their children. Please do not have a child submit the form directly.
